The premier invitation-only lacrosse event in Ohio. Eighty of the top high school players in Northeast Ohio will earn their spot on a new, elite stage for competition and college recruitment.
Every roster spot is earned. Spots are strictly limited to 80 players selected from across Northeast Ohio through a competitive application and nomination process.

How the Selection Process Works
The Cleveland Elite 80 is invite-only with a clear, competitive pathway. Players may either apply directly or be nominated by a high school or club coach. All candidates are evaluated by our selection committee.
- Player applies or is nominated by a coach — Eligible high school athletes from Northeast Ohio submit an application, or a coach submits a nomination on their behalf.
- Selection committee review — Our staff and evaluators review applications and nominations, focusing on performance, potential, competitiveness, and fit for an elite showcase.
- Notification sent — Selected players receive an official The Cleveland Elite 80 invitation by email with next steps and event details.
- Registration opens for invited players — Invited athletes secure their roster spot by completing the $325 registration and payment before the deadline.
Important: Submitting an application or nomination does not guarantee selection. With only 80 total roster spots, the process is highly competitive and based on the discretion of the selection committee.
