All on-field sessions will take place on John Carroll University’s premier lacrosse facilities, providing an elite environment worthy of Ohio’s top 80 Class of 2028 & 2029 players.

EVENT FORMAT & SCHEDULE

The Cleveland Elite 80 Showcase is built for exposure, competition, and clarity. Eighty invited Class of 2028 & 2029 athletes are placed on four high-level teams and compete in a showcase environment in front of NCAA coaches.

• MORNING CHECK-IN: Player check-in and gear-up window (exact times released with final schedule).
• PLAYER EVALUATION & TEAM ASSIGNMENTS: Staff confirmation of rosters, jersey distribution, and final team placements.
• GAME BLOCKS: Multiple showcase games across four teams, designed to maximize touches, matchups, and evaluation windows for NCAA coaches. (Game times and opponents provided in the final schedule.)
• POSITIONAL & SPECIALTY REPS: Focused opportunities for faceoff specialists, goalies, and position-specific evaluation. (Exact format shared in pre-event briefing.)
• NCAA COACH Q&A: Live session with college coaches covering recruiting timelines, communication rules, and what coaches look for at events like Cleveland Elite 80.
• CLOSING WRAP-UP: Event debrief and final notes on next steps in the recruiting process.

Specific check-in times, game slots, and Q&A schedule will be included in each player’s official event packet upon acceptance and registration.

WHAT TO BRING

• Full game-ready equipment (helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, arm pads, mouthguard, cleats)
• Primary and backup stick(s)
• Goalie gear (if applicable)
• Water bottle and any preferred sports drinks or snacks
• Reversible pinnie or jersey if instructed in pre-event communication
• Medical information and any required paperwork or waivers
• Training tools you rely on for warm-up (bands, rollers, etc.)
• Weather-appropriate layers for sideline time

All players will receive detailed checklists in their acceptance packet so nothing is left to chance on showcase day.

PARKING & DIRECTIONS

John Carroll University is centrally located in University Heights, just outside Cleveland, with convenient access from major highways and regional airports.

• PARKING: On-campus parking will be available in designated lots near the fields. Specific lot names, maps, and recommended entrances will be provided in your event packet.
• DIRECTIONS: GPS to “John Carroll University, 1 John Carroll Boulevard, University Heights, OH 44118.” Final driving directions and any day-of traffic notes will be shared prior to the event.
• DROP-OFF AREA: A player drop-off zone near check-in will be clearly marked in the pre-event map and on-site signage.

Families will receive a digital map with parking, field locations, and meeting points to streamline arrival.
